Storm Water Resource Plan

The Yolo County Flood Control and Water Conservation District (YCFC&WCD) submitted a Proposition 1 grant application to the State Water Resources Control Board on behalf of the WRA in March 2016 and was successful in receiving an award for $325,000 for a total project cost of about $690,000. The YCFC&WCD will be the grant administrator.  The grant funds will primarily be used to develop a Storm Water Resource Management Plan and a Water Evaluation and Planning System (WEAP) model through the Stockholm Environment Institute. This Plan is a requirement in order to access implementation funding in 2018.

The Final Draft of the Yolo County SWRP is available for public comment.  Please provide comments to Kristin Sicke at ksicke@ycfcwcd.org by April 19, 2018.  The Final Yolo County SWRP will be adopted by the Westside IRWM Coordinating Committee on May 9, 2018.
