Water Conditions Update - 2013
State officials are urging Californians to embrace water conservation practices as 2013 shapes up to be a dry year. The statewide public education program Save Our Water provides information about water conservation inside and outside of our homes. The program is sponsored by the Association of California Water Agencies and the Calfornia Department of Water Resources. To read more about this year's water conditions, please read a ACWA's Water News from 4/1/13. Yolo County cities have water conservation links for residents on their websites that are easily found on their homepages.
DWR is requiring that current IRWM plans address climate change impacts on near and long-term water resources planning. DWR released in October 2010 a brochure that summarizes key strategies and guidance for water management in a changing climate. For more information visit the departments website.
